Jamie Hoffmann Returned to the Dodgers

Rule 5 pick Jamie Hoffmann cleared outright waivers and was returned to the Dodgers. Yankees could trade for him before the end of camp.

I must admit, I'm pretty surprised. I thought that Hoffmann had a pretty good chance to make the team considering that Marcus Thames was his competition. I'm sure the Yankees will try to make a deal for Hoffmann, as they could definitely use the outfield depth. We'll see what happens.
