Triple-A Scranton:

Austin Jackson has had back-to-back solid games as he went 2 for 5 with a triple, an RBI, and two runs scored. He also stole his 24th base of the season. Last two games he has gone 6 for 11 which has jumped his average back to .299, creeping towards .300 again.


Double-A Trenton:

Eduardo Nunez had a rare 0fer going 0 for 4 with two strikeouts. First 0fer since August 24th, so it snaps a nine-game hit streak. Average at .321.


High-A Tampa:

David Phelps started and pitched great again. Final line: 5IP 4H 4Ks. He holds a 1.17ERA in Tampa since being promoted (7 starts, 38.1IP).


Low-A Charleston:

Andrew Brackman threw in relief again as they continue to limit his innings via relief appearances and was very good again. His line: 3IP 1H 2Ks. In his three last appearances: 7IP 3H 6Ks. So that's 7 innings without a walk.

Manuel Barreda was promoted to Charleston after the Rookie GCL Yankees lost in their playoff game yesterday afternoon which ended their season. He threw 2 innings of relief,
walking one and striking out two.


Short-Season Staten Island:

Adam Warren started and pitched well. Final line: 5IP 5H 2R (both earned) 6Ks. He holds a 1.43ERA in SI (12 starts, 56.2IP).

Gavin Brooks continued his bullpen dominance throwing 2 more scoreless innings, giving up two hits and striking out three.
