• Phil Hughes got the start and was not long for this game. In 2 1/3 innings, Phil allowed 2 runs on 4 hits and 4 walks, striking out 3 in the process. He threw 72 pitches, 40 for strikes. It is what it is. There's nothing much to say.
  
• Kevin Russo was 1 for 5 with a double.
• Austin Jackson was 3 for 4 with a double.
  

• Austin Romine was 1 for 4 with a double.
• Damon Sublett was 0 for 3 with a walk.
