According to the Charleston Riverdogs' website, Zach McAllister has been promoted to Tampa, as I have been calling for the Yankees to do for a little while.  McAllister has been great in Charleston, putting up a 2.45 ERA in 62 1/3 innings, with 53 strikeouts against 8 walks and a 2.16 groundout/flyout ratio.  He definitely has dominated the SAL outside of 2 very bad outings, and is ready to take on tougher competition in the high-A Florida State League. Abe Almonte has been moved off the DL back to the active roster to fill McAllister's spot.  The 18 year-old centerfielder, who was hitting .280 with 4 homers, a .763 OPS and 11 steals (15 attempts), will probably return to the lineup tonight, and hopefully will continue to be a force at the top of the lineup.
