  • Steven White was less effective in his second bullpen outing, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits (2 homers) and 2 walks in 1 2/3 innings.
  • JB Cox did his thing, pitching 1 1/3 perfect innings. He has still yet to give up a run in AAA since being promoted.
  • Brett Gardner, back to the leadoff spot, was 0 for 4 with a walk.
  • Justin Christian and Cody Ransom were each 1 for 4 with a double.

  • Anthony Claggett pitched 2 shutout innings of relief, striking out 1 and allowing 3 hits. This lowered his ERA to 1.50 on the season.
  • Ramiro Pena was 4 for 5 with a double.
  • Austin Jackson was 0 for 3 with a walk.
  • Colin Curtis was 1 for 2 with 3 walks.
  • Edwar Gonzalez was 2 for 5 with a double, raising his average to .349.

  • Dellin Betances was roughed up, giving up 8 runs (7 earned) on 8 hits (2 homers) and 2 walks, while striking out 3. There's not much good that can be said about this outing, other than the fact that he only walked 2.
  • Wilkins De La Rosa gave up a run on 2 hits in 2 1/3 innings of relief, and struck out 3.
  • Chase Vacek pitched 2 shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk, and striking out 1.
  • Justin Snyder was 1 for 5 with a double.
  • Brandon Laird was 1 for 5, and earned a golden sombrero with 4 strikeouts. He also made an error in the field (his 8th).
  • Jesus Montero was 3 for 5 with a double to raise his average to .318, though he also struck out twice.
  • Austin Romine was 1 for 5 with a triple, and is hitting .316 on the season.
  • Brian Baisley was 2 for 3 with a walk.
  • Carmen Angelini was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles to raise his average to .243. He is hitting .294 in his last 10 games, so maybe he is starting to get comfortable with the bat.
  • Walter Ibarra was 2 for 4 with a 3-run double.
