The 6'8" righty is sidelined with a mysterious upper body injury (Jairo Heredia also had one), according to the Riverdogs' website.  I have no idea of the severity of the injury, but it could explain his absolutely horrendous outing yesterday.  Betances has been effective, though wild, for most of this season, and I hope he is not seriously injured.  I'll let you know if I find out more.  Dave Williams also was placed on the DL, and those two join Brad Suttle, Wady Rufino, and Abe Almonte, who are all still on the DL.  10 Riverdogs have been on the DL at some point this season, a ridiculous number.
