Via RAB, Cervelli will miss 1-2 months of the season with a fractured wrist, as a result of the home plate collision. This could derail his season, as wrist injuries tend to linger. I'm not going to pretend to know more about the injury. P.J. Pilittere now becomes the Yankee's depth catcher if Molina or Posada go down with an injury. His name might be relatively unfamiliar - I wrote this a year ago - but he's not a terrible option. Pilittere has a tremendous reputation for working with pitchers, and shouldn't be completely impotent with the bat.
