- Steven White got the start and was terrible. In just 2 1/3 innings of work, White allowed 6 runs on 7 hits and a walk, while just striking out 1.
- J.B. Cox took the loss as he allowed a run on 3 hits and a walk in his 2 innings of relief. The run was the first he allowed at the Triple A level this season.
- Brett Gardner was 1 for 2 with a walk and 2 stolen bases, giving his 22 for the season.
- Ben Broussard was 1 for 1 with a double and a walk.
- Eric Duncan had the day off.
- Matt Carson was 3 for 5 with a homerun.
- Jason Lane was 1 for 4 with a double.
- Jason Jones got the start and was effective, allowing a run on 5 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings. He also struck out 4.
- Anthony Claggett allowed 2 hits in his inning of relief. He also struck out a batter.
- Ramiro Pena was 1 for 3 with a RBI double and a walk. Ramiro was the only Trenton hitter to get a hit in the game.
- Austin Jackson was 0 for 2 with a walk and a sac fly.
- Colin Curtis, Edwar Gonzalez, Chris Malec, Jose Tabata, PJ Pilittere, Reegie Corona, and Carlos Mendoza were hitless in their respective at-bats. Chris Malec, Jose Tabata, and Reegie Corona were all able to a draw a walk while Carlos Mendoza was able to draw two walks.
- Zachary McAllister got the start was filthy. In 7 innings of work, ZM scattered 7 hits while striking out 6. He also had a 8-7 groundout-flyout ratio.
- Jonathan Hovis struck out a batter in his inning of relief.
- Eduardo Nunez was 3 for 4 with a walk.
- Mitch Hilligross was 3 for 5.
- Andres Perez and Seth Fortenberry were 4 for 5. Andres Perez smacked 2 homeruns while Seth Fortenberry hit for the cycle.
- James Cooper, Luis Nunez, Ben Blumenthal, and Josue Calzado picked up a hit each in their respective at bats. Josue also had a walk.
- Kevin Smith was 2 for 5.
- Lance Pendleton started, giving up 2 hits and a walk in 5 2/3 innings, striking out 6 in the process.
- Jesse Hoover allowed a hit and walk in 1 1/3 innings of relief.
- Chace Vacek allowed a hit but struck out 2 in an inning of relief.
- Jonathan Ortiz notched his 18th save as he struck out 2 in a perfect inning of relief.
- Abe Almonte was 1 for 5.
- Justin Snyder was 1 for 3.
- Brad Suttle, Brian Baisley, and Carmen Angelini were 0 for 4.
- Jesus Montero had the much needed day off.
- Austin Romine, dhing, was 1 for 4.
- Brandon Laird was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.
- Austin Krum was 2 for 4.
- Yankees 1st round supplemental pick (#44 overall) Jeremy Bleich out of Stanford allowed an unearned run on 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 5 in his 6 innings of work against #5 ranked powerhouse Cal State Fullerton in the first game (best of three) of their Super Regional Matchup. He was very economical, throwing 72 pitches, 47 for strikes. Jeremy was also able to muster up a 4-9 groundout-flyout ratio. I'm liking the dude already!
- Yankees 13th round pick (#410) Jack Rye out of Florida State was 2 for 5 with a RBI and a strikeout. Interestingly enough, Rye bats cleanup on the team which features Buster Posey, who bats third. Anyway, they played against Wichita State and lost game 1 of their Super Regional Matchup.
