• Sidney Ponson got the start and allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits and 3 walks in 4 innings, striking out 2 in the process. He threw 78 pitches, 46 of them going for strikes and also had a 7-3 groundout-flyout ratio.
• Scott Patterson allowed an unearned run on 2 walks but struck out the side in his inning of relief.
• David Robertson struck out 2 batters in 1 2/3 innings of relief. I mean seriously, can he be promoted now?
• Brett Gardner was 3 for 4 with a double, a walk, and 2 steals.
• Justin Christian was 3 for 5 with a homerun.
• Juan Miranda was 2 for 5 with a double.
• Eric Duncan was 2 for 5.

• George Kontos got the start and in 6 innings, allowed 2 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks, striking out 2 in the process.
• Anthony Claggett allowed 2 hits and a walk but struck out 4 in his 3 shutout innings of relief.
• Ramiro Pena was 1 for 3 with a walk.
• Austin Jackson was 0 for 2 with 2 walks.
• Colin Curtis was 0 for 4.
• Cody Ehlers, Jose Tabata, PJ Piliterre, and Reegie Corona were 1 for 4. Tabata added a stolen base.
• Edwar Gonzalez was 0 for 3 with a walk.

• Cory Arbisco, the 22nd-round pick out of Cal-State Fullerton in this year's draft, was the starter. He was very effective in 3 innings of work, allowing just 2 hits while striking out 2.
• Tm Dennehy pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings of relief.
• Andrew Shive allowed a hit but no further in his shutout inning of relief. He also had a strikeout.
• The man, the myth, and the legend that is Pat Venditte pitched a shutout inning of relief.
• Matt Morris was 2 for 5 with a double.
• Braedyn Pruitt was 1 for 3 with 2 walks.
• Jahdiel Santamaria was 0 for 5.
• Brian Baisley was 2 for 3 with a walk.
• Taylor Grote and Mike Lyon was 0 for 3 with a walk. Taylor also had a stolen base.
• David Adams was 2 for 4.
• Melky Mesa (gotta love that name!!) was 1 for 5 with a homerun.
• Raul Chavez was 3 for 4.
