- 17 year old Manuel Banuelos scattered 4 hits in his 3 2/3 innings of shutout relief, striking out 4 in the process. Eric the other day was talking about Manuel making him feel old. Well, I haven't officially graduated from high school and this kid is younger than me!
- Jose Pirela was 2 for4.
- Corban Joseph, this year's 4th round pick, was 0 for 2 with a walk.
- Zolio Almonte was 1 for 3 with a homerun.
- Chad Gross, this year's 28th round pick, was 0 for 3.
- Tommy Baldridge, this year's 33rd round pick out of Coastal Carolina, was 0 for 3.
- Jimmy Paredes was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles.
- Chase Weems was 1 for 1 with a walk.
- Emerson Landoni was 0 for 3.
