- Alan Horne, who last pitched a month ago, struggled tremendously in his return to the Scranton rotation. The 25 year-old gave up 5 runs on 2 hits and 5 walks in only 1 inning of work. These struggles are likely due to rust, and he will get himself back together in due time.
- Chris Britton was great through 3 innings of scoreless relief, giving up 3 hits and a walk and striking out 5. While his line looks good, he did allow 2 runners inherited from Horne to score, showing that you can't always trust the box score.
- Scott Strickland pitched a perfect 8th, striking out 1 and lowering his ERA to 2.19 on the season.
- Brett Gardner, back in the minors after the acquisition of Xavier Nady, was 0 for 5 with 3 strikeouts.
- Alberto Gonzalez was 1 for 4.
- Juan Miranda was 1 for 3 with a walk, raising his average to .291.
- Cody Ransom was 2 for 4 with his 20th homer of the season. He is displaying some serious pop for a middle infielder.
- Ben Broussard was 1 for 4 with his 7th home run.
- Eric Duncan was 0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts.
- Chris Stewart was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
- Michael Gardner started, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits and a walk in 3 1/3 innings of work.
- Kevin Whelan struck out 2 in 1 2/3 scoreless innings, and gave up a hit and a walk.
- Phil Coke, pulled from his last start because he was originally in the Nady/Marte trade, struck out 3 in 2 perfect innings from the bullpen.
- Oneli Perez also struck out 3 in 2 perfect relief innings.
- Reegie Corona and Ramiro Pena were each 0 for 4.
- Austin Jackson, Edwar Gonzalez, Frank Muich, and Colin Curtis were each 1 for 4. Jackson's average is now sitting at .295.
- Cody Ehlers was 2 for 4.
- Seth Cooper was 2 for 2 with a walk.
- Coming off a horrendous outing in which he gave up 7 runs in 2 innings, Jason Stephens was much better this time around. Stephens pitched 6 innings of 1-run ball, striking out 3 while giving up 7 hits and 2 walks.
- Luis Nunez was 1 for 4 with a walk.
- Eduardo Nunez was 2 for 5.
- Josh Kreuzer was 1 for 3 with 2 walks.
- Seth Fortenberry was 2 for 4 witha double and a walk.
- Andres Perez was 2 for 4 with his 8th homer of the season.
- Tim Battle was 2 for 4 with a triple, but was also picked off.
- Lance Pendleton took the loss, but pitched very well, giving up a run on 4 hits and a walk in 7 innings, and striking out 2.
- Stephen Artz walked 1 and struck out 1 in 2 scoreless innings
- The Riverdogs managed just 1 hit as a team, a single by Austin Krum, who was 1 for 3.
- Abe Almonte and Brandon Laird were also hitless, but both drew a walk.
- Everyone else was 0 for 3.
- Nick Montgomery started, giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits in 5 innings of work, and striking out 2.
- David Adams and Brian Baisley were each 1 for 4. Baisley's average is .347, and he has raked since being added to the SI roster.
- Daniel Brewer was 1 for 3 with his 1st homer and a walk.
- Mike Lyon was 2 for 3.
