- Chase Wright was very effective, allowing a run on 5 hits and 3 walks in 7 innings of work, and striking out 1. He lowered his ERA to 2.96 with this effort.
- Mark Melancon earned the win by throwing 2 scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 1.93 on the season. 5 of the 6 outs he got were via the groundball, a very encouraging sign.
- Reegie Corona was 2 for 4, raising his average to .272.
- Ramiro Pena and Walter Ibarra were each 1 for 4.
- Austin Jackson was 1 for 4 with a double, dropping his average to .297. Work harder Austin! Get over .300!
- Chris Malec was 1 for 3 with a triple and a walk, raising his average to .322.
- Colin Curtis was 2 for 3 with a walk.
- Ryan Pope was solid in the start, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks in 7 innings of work, and striking out 7. He has a 2.49 ERA on the season.
- Luis Nunez was 2 for 4 with a double.
- Eduardo Nunez was 2 for 3 with 2 walks to raise his avearge to .258.
- Kevin Smith was 1 for 5.
- Josh Kreuzer was 1 for 4 with a 2-run homer and a walk.
- Kyle Anson was 2 for 2 wiht a triple and a walk.
- Tim Battle was 1 for 4 with a steal.
- Wilkins de la Rosa was impressive as a starter again, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 8. He lowered his ERA to 2.32 with this outing, and continues to look strong, striking out many hitters without walking many.
- Abe Almonte, Brandon Laird, and Austin Krum were each 0 for 4. Abe's average dropped to .231, and the poor guy just can't seem to buy a hit in July.
- Austin Romine was 1 for 4 with a double.
- Brad Suttle was 0 for 3 with a walk.
- Justin Snyder was 2 for 4 with a 2-run homer that tied the game in the top of the 9th. He is hitting .296 on the season, and .390 in his last 10.
- Carmen Angelini was 1 for 4.
- Jeff Nutt was 2 for 4.
- Prilys Cuello, playing leftfield, was 1 for 3 before being pinch-hit for in the top of the 9th.
- Jesus Montero, who pinch-hit for Cuello, drove in the winning run with an RBI single in his only at bat. Now that's clutch.
- Nick Asselin started, and wasn't great. In 2 2/3 innings, he gave up 4 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 4.
- Addison Maruszak, Daniel Brewer, Brian Baisley, Melky Mesa, Jahdiel Santamaria and Brian Chavez were each 1 for 4.
- Mike Lyon was 2 for 4 with a solo homer to raise his average to .319.
- Mitch Abeita was 1 for 3 with a walk.
- Braedyn Pruitt was 1 for 3, and is hitting an even .200.
- Ronny Marte started, and pitched pretty well in 3 2/3 innings. Marte surrendered an unearned run on 3 hits, and struck out 3, lowering his ERA to 1.40.
- Jose Pirela was 1 for 4.
- Chris Smith was 0 for 3, dropping his average to .164.
- Jimmy Paredes was 0 for 4, lowering his average to .295. He also made his 12th error, playing shortstop today.
- Neall French, Chad Gross, and Mitchell Delaney were each 1 for 4.
- Zoilo Almonte was 2 for 3 with a double.
- Emerson Landoni was 2 for 3 with a double.
