- Jeff Karstens started, and pitched very well. In 7 innings of work, he gave up 2 runs on 6 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 2.
- Billy Traber struck out 2 in 1 1/3 perfect innings.
- JB Cox pitched 2/3 perfect innings.
- Alberto Gonzalez was 3 for 5 with 3 doubles, bringing his average to .265.
- Eric Duncan had a monster game, going 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and his 10th homer of the season. Eric brought his average up to .245, and his OPS to .711.
- Matt Carson was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
- Juan Miranda was 1 for 4.
- Cody Ransom was 1 for 4 with a homer.
- Ben Broussard was 2 for 4 with a double.
- JD Closser was 1 for 4 with a double.
- Zach McAllister started, and his line would have looked better if Kevin Smith didn't make a big 2-out error that led to 3 unearned runs. In 6 innings, Z-Mac allowed 4 runs (1 earned) on 7 hits and no walks, while striking out 2. This outing lowered his ERA to 2.50 in Tampa.
- Jon Hovis pitched a perfect inning of relief to lower his ERA to 1.19.
- Eduardo Nunez, Kevin Smith, Kyle Anson and Tim Battle were each 1 for 4. Battle and Nunez each had a stolen base.
- Mitch Hilligoss was 1 for 2 with 2 walks to get over .250 for the first time in a while.
- Andres Perez was 2 for 3 with a solo homer.
- Seth Fortenberry was 2 for 4 with a double.
- Adam Olbrychowski made his return from injury, and was horrendous. In 1 2/3 innings, Olby gave up 7 runs on 5 hits and 6 walks, while striking out 1.
- Abe Almonte continued to slump, going 0 for 5 to drop his average to .234. He is 1 for his last 19, and 4 for his last 41. Abe also made an error to add insult to injury.
- Brad Suttle was 2 for 5.
- Austin Romine had a huge game, going 4 for 4 with his 5th and 6th homers of the season, and also drew a walk. With this outburst, he raised his average to .283.
- Jesus Montero, not to be overshadowed by Romine's huge game, did quite well for himself, going 4 for 5 with a double to raise his average to .306.
- Brandon Laird was 1 for 5 with an error.
- Justin Snyder was 3 for 4 with a double to raise his average to .291.
- Carmen Angelini was 1 for 5 with a double.
- Dave Williams was 2 for 5, and also threw out 2 runners trying to take an extra base.
- Austin Krum was 2 for 5 and threw out a runner at home.
- Luke Greinke only lasted 1 inning, giving up 3 runs on 2 hits and 3 walks. He did strike out 2, and his ERA on the season is a solid 3.04.
- Raymond Kruml was 0 for 3.
- David Adams was 1 for 3 with a double to bring his average to .243.
- Jack Rye was 1 for 3 with a walk.
- Mike Lyon was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, raising his average to .318.
- Ben Blumenthal was 1 for 3 with a walk.
- Addison Maruszak was 1 for 4 with a homer and 3 strikeouts.
