The Yankees expanded their reach in the international scouting community by signing 2 teenagers from Australia.  Kyle Perkins, a 16 year-old catcher from Canberra, was signed to a 7 year contract, and he is expected to join the Yankees after completing school in 2010.  Outfielder Nathan Aron, 16 as well, also signed with the Yankees and is expected to join the team in 2010 as well. I don't know much about these two prospects yet, and it may be a few years before we hear anything from them.  But regardless of how talented they are, it is exciting to see the Yankees continue to pursue young talent worldwide.
