I figured that tonight would be a good time to give you guys a little update about the future of this blog. I thank you all for staying with us through the slow times, the busy times, and the times where the content on this blog weren't up to their usual standards. With the season ramping up, those times aren't coming back any time soon.
I stretched myself a little thin this off-season. As some of you may have noticed, I had my name removed from The Bronx Block's site. I just couldn't commit the time to both TBB and Pending Pinstripes, and I decided to prioritize this blog. However, I still want to write about the MLB Yankees, so I've received permission from the higher ups here at MVN to write a little bit about the MLB team on this blog. The focus of the blog will still be primarily the minors, but expect the occasional crossover.
Right now, Pending Pinstripes has spent the off-season as the #5 blog here at MVN. We're beat by The Bronx Block, the Cubs Reporter, and two football blogs. During the season, we sat comfortable in the #3 spot behind the Cubs Reporter and the Giants Blog. My goal is going to be to build up every facet of this blog to make it the #1 offering on MVN. What does this mean for you? A lot of steady, original, high-quality content.
