- Alfredo Aceves had a mediocre outing, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits and a walk in 4 innings, and striking out 3.
- JB Cox struggled with his control, giving up 2 runs on no hits and 4 walks.
- Scott Patterson struck out 2 in 2 scoreless.
- Scott Strickland gave up 4 runs in 1/3 of an inning, and might be injured.

- Ben Broussard was 1 for 4 with a double.
- Nick Green was 2 for 4 with a homer.
- Chris Basak was 2 for 4.
- George Kontos was great for the 2nd straight outing, giving up 4 hits and 2 walks in 7 scoreless innings, and striking out 5.

- Reegie Corona and Kevin Russo were each 1 for 4. Corons's hit was a double, and he also stole his 21st base.

- Edwar Gonzalez was 1 for 2 with a walk.
- Walter Ibarra was 1 for 3 with a walk.
- Jairo Heredia put together a great start, giving up an unearned run (due to his own fielding error) on 5 hits and 2 walks in 6 1/3 innings, and striking out 6. This outing lowered his ERA to 3.12 on the season, and Heredia has certainly impressed as an 18 year-old in full season ball.

- Emerson Landoni was 2 for 4.
- Alvaro Ramirez was 2 for 4 with a triple.
"I tell you right now, if it wasn't the Yankees who drafted me I'd be going to Rice right now." Marshall said. "No question about it. The Yankees have been my team and I am going to take this because three years from now you never know what could happen.I expect the overslot signings to come trickling in as we get closer to August 15. I expect Gerrit Cole and Jeremy Bleich to sign despite Boras's antics, with Cole getting a bonus around 5-6 million (rumor has it that the Yankees were offering 4.7, and Boras was asking for 10) and Bleich getting a little over 1 million. The Scott Bittle signings seems in jeopardy because of his shoulder, so tha tone may not get done. Clemson pitcher DJ Mitchell is also expected to sign an overslot deal, and late round high school picks SS Garrison Lassiter, LHP Blake Monar, and LHP Chris Dwyer are some of the more talented players left. Lassiter is the most likely sign of the trio.
