- Al Aceves started, and wasn't great. In 5 2/3 innings, Aceves gave up 4 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 2.
- JB Cox gave upa run on 2 hits in 2 1/3 innings of work.
- Scott Patterson struck out 1 and walked 1 in a scoreless 9th.
- Brett Gardner was 2 for 6.
- Matt Carson was 1 for 5 with an outfield assist. I don't know the number, but he is piling up quite a lot of assists on the year.
- Juan Miranda was 3 for 4 with his 8th homer and 2 walks, pulling his average to an even .300 on the season.
- Cody Ransom was 1 for 6 with 3 strikeouts.
- Ben Broussard was 3 for 5 with a walk.
- Chris Stewart was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk.
- Chris Basak was 3 for 5.
- Jason Jones pitched pretty well, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings, and striking out 3.
- Wilkins Arias struck out 3 in 1 2/3 scoreless innings.
- Kevin Whelan walked 2 in 1 1/3 shutout innings to get the save.
- Reegie Corona was 1 for 5.
- Austin Jackson was 2 for 4, raising his average to .289.
- Colin Curtis was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
- Kevin Russo was 1 for 4 with a double.
- Edwar Gonzalez was 2 for 4, and got caught stealing.
- Seth Cooper was 1 for 4.
- Michael Dunn started, surrendering 3 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings, and striking out 7.
- Luis Nunez and Andres Perez were 1 for 4.
- Eduardo Nunez was 2 for 4 with a double and a homer to raise his average to .258 on the season.
- Kevin Smith was 2 fo r4.
- Seth Fortenberry, Mitch Hilligoss, and Tim Battle were each 1 for 4 with a double.
- Jairo Heredia started and took the loss, giving up 4 runs (3 earned) on 8 hits and 3 walks in 4 2/3 innings, and striking out 2. The best sign from today is that he kept the ball on the ground, with an 8:4 groundout:flyout ratio. Despite 3 tough outings in a row, Jairo's ERA is still a very nice 3.35, indicative of how well he has pitched this season at age 18.
- Justin Snyder was 3 for 4 with a double, and is hitting .294 on the season.
- Austin Romine was 2 for 3 to get his average up to .280.
- Jesus Montero was 1 for 3, raising his average to .311.
- Brandon Laird, Prilys Cuello, and Carmen Angelini were each 0 for 3.
- Brad Suttle was 0 for 4 with an error (his 13th of the season).
- Abe Almonte was 1 for 2 with a walk, raising his average to .229.
- Austin Krum was 1 for 3 wiht a double.
- Adam Olbrychowski started, and did not pitch well. In 4 innings, Adam O gave up 4 runs on 5 hits and a walk, and struck out 4.
- Stephen Artz struck out 3 in 2 scoreless innings, though he did give up 4 hits.
- Austin Romine was 1 for 3 with a walk.
- Jesus Montero was 1 for 4 with his 12th homer of the season.
- Austin Krum was 1 for 3.
- Brandon Laird was 1 for 3 with a double.
- Abe Almonte wasa 1 for 3.
- Prilys Cuello was 2 for 3.
- David Phelps pitched very well, going 5 innings of 1-run ball, and giving up 3 hits while fanning 4.
- Addison Maruszak and David Adams were each 2 for 4.
- Brian Baisley was 1 for 4 with his 5th homer of the season. He is hittin g.336 on the season, with a gaudy .909 OPS.
- Mike Lyon was 1 for 3.
- Jahdiel Santamaria was 1 for 3 with a double.
