Trenton loses to New Hampshire, 4 to 3 in ten innings
  • No prospects pitched in the game. Tim Lavigne got the start, allowing two runs in six innings.

Tampa loses to Lakeland 9 to 2.
  • Eric Hacker got shelled, allowing four earned runs in an inning and a third of work. No prospects appeared in relief.

  • Hector Noesi made the start. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits in 3 innings. He's also a non-prospect (boring day).
  • Ferdin Tejada was the first to relieve him. His ERA stood steady at 4.50 as he gave up 1 run in 2 innings. Tejeda struck out 1 and did not walk anyone.
  • Jon Hovis blew the game. He gave up 2 runs in 1 2/3 innings. He pitched a scoreless 9th, but gave up a walk, wild pitch, RBI groundout, and a single in the 8th.
  • Mitch Hilligoss extended his hit streak to 36 games with a bunt single. He was 1 for 5 with a walk and a stolen base on the night. Hilligoss isn't a speedster by any means, but it's nice to see him continue to get on base however he can. He's never going to hit for much power, so these kinds of nights are going to have to sustain him as he works toward the major leagues.
  • Seth Fortenberry continued his hot streak by going 3 for 5 with a walk and a solo home run. He is 10 for his last 17 with 5 walks, 3 HR, and 2 doubles.
  • Austin Jackson was 1 for 5 with 3 strikeouts. He's back in the slump with 12 strikeouts in his last 10 games.
