I'd just like to lay out a big "Thank You" to everyone reading right now. MVN released to it's writers a ranking of the most active pages here at the Most Valuable Network. Pending Pinstripes ranked #7 overall in activity, behind only a few big market blogs and the front pages. You guys made this site the top minor league baseball site here at MVN during the month of May, and that's not even the best news. Since those rankings were compiled, Pending Pinstripes has enjoyed it's best three days since I've been monitoring traffic.
I've made an effort since starting my first blog over a year ago to read and answer every single comment that I get. The problem? With so many comments, that's a hard thing to do! If I miss a question that you asked, please ask it again in the comments section of one of the more recent posts. I can track new posts to older articles, but I'll miss some. You guys ask some of the best questions that I've ever seen readers ask consistently at a blog.
I've said this before but since we have so many new people reading, I'll have to say it again. I'm not going to be writing much this summer. I will be working in the woods from June 20th until August 14th or so. I may be able to get something in on the weekends, but not consistently. MVN's Director of Minor League Baseball Brandon Magee is currently searching for a replacement. If you have some writing experience and want to be considered for the spot, go to http://mvn.com/join/ and submit an application.
Thank you all very much. Tell your friends about the blog! Let's get this baby to #1.
