Hiroyo, this piece of news should make you very happy. Charleston reliever Dave Robertson, former closer for Alabama, has been promoted to high-A Tampa after dominating the Sally League so far this season. In 47 innings, Robertson has put up a 0.77 ERA, with 67 strikeouts against 15 walks, only 25 hits allowed (for a WHIP of 0.85), a .155 BAA, and a 2.08 groundout/flyout ratio. So far, Dave has done everything right, keeping batters off the bases, striking out hitters, limiting his walks, and forcing groundballs. The Florida State League will be a new challenge for the 5'11" 22 year-old, but given how dominant he has been so far, I expect his success to continue. He could be a relief prospect worth keeping an eye on, particularly with Whelan struggling with his control, and Melancon and Cox rehabbing from elbow surgery.
