I have not found this from an official source, but a poster from nyyfans.com (http://forums.nyyfans.com/showthread.php?t=104483) reported that the Yankees have made some minor league promotions for some of their prospects.  Speedy outfielder Justin Christian was promoted to Scranton, Juan Miranda and Colin Curtis were promoted to Trenton, and Austin Jackson and Chris Malec were promoted to Tampa.  Shawn Garrett was cut from the Trenton roster. I'm a little surprised that Christian was promoted over Brett Gardner, who has been an absolute pest since coming back from injury, but I guess I understand.  Miranda and Curtis have hit very well in Tampa, so the move to AA made sense.  Hopefully, they will continue to perform for what has been a punchless Trenton lineup.  Jackson is very talented, and is performing well enough in Charleston that it makes sense to challenge him.  I wonder if the Yanks are considering promoting Alan Horne anytime soon, he seems like the next logical promotion.  It'll be interesting to see what else happens, and who else they cut.
