Scranton falls to Durham, 5-1

Matt DeSalvo started and had a bit of a rough outing, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits and 4 walks in 4 2/3 innings. However, DeSalvo did strike out 10 batters, over 2 per inning.
Eric Duncan was 0 for 4 with 2 strikeouts.
Shelley Duncan was 0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts.
Alberto Gonzalez was 2 for 4 with a double.

Trenton shut out by Akron, 2-0

Ian Kennedy started, and was a hard-luck loser, pitching 5 innings of 1-run ball while striking out 3 and walking 2.
Jason Jones, moved to the bullpen despite his sub-3.00 ERA because of the crowded Trenton rotation, allowed 1 run in 3 innings with 3 strikeouts.
Brett Gardner was 4 for 5, but was picked off first.
Carlos Mendoza was 1 for 2.
Aarom Baldiris was 2 for 4.
Gape Lopez was 3 for 4 with a double.

Tampa edges Lakeland, 7-6

Anthony Claggett started, and was hit hard. In 5 innings, he gave up 5 runs on 9 hits and 2 walks, but he struck out 7.
Eric Wordekemper pitched a perfect 9th, striking out 1 in the process.
Reegie Corona was 3 for 4 with a walk.
José Tabata was 1 for 2 with a double and 2 walks.
Marcos Vechionacci was 1 for 4.
Kevin Russo was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk.
