- Non-prospect Eric Junge got the start, pitching 6 innings and allowing one earned run. No prospects pitched in the game.
- Eric Duncan was 1 for 4 with a double and no strikeouts.
- Shelley Duncan went 1 for 2 with a home run, walk, and HBP.
- Bronson Sardinha was 0 for 4.
- Alberto Gonzalez had the night off amidst his struggles.
- Alan Horne made his worst start of the season. He gave up 4 runs, two earned, in five innings of work. He struck out a season-low two and walked three. After 5 straight great starts in a row, and a very good season so far, Horne was bound to have one of these. They happen to every pitcher.
- Cody Ehlers was 2 for 4 with a double. Good for him. I still think that Ehlers has the potential to be a late blooming major leaguer.
- P.J. Pilittere was 2 for 4 with a double. Good for him. I still think that Pilittere has the potential to be a late blooming major leaguer.
- Scott Patterson relieved Horne and gave up one run in in 2 1/3 innings. He struck out 1 and walked his first batter in almost a month.
- Ramiro Pena returned to action and was 0 for 3 with a walk.
- Joba Chamberlain got the start. He gave up 3 runs in 7 innings, striking out 10 and walking 2. The Over/Under on his Trenton promotion is July 1st. Sadly, I take the over.
- Jose Tabata was 3 for 4, all singles. Tabata, who was striking out at nearly a one per game pace, has only four strikeouts in his last 10 games and has hit .357/.425/.404. He also threw a runner out at home.
- Juan Miranda was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He has an 8 game hitting streak going.
- Francisco Cervelli was 2 for 4 with a double.
- Reegie Corona was 1 for 4 with a walk.
- Colin Curtis was 1 for 5.
- Marcos Vechionacci was 0 for 4 with 2 strikeouts. He better be careful, or else Mitch Hilligoss is going to take his spot once the hit streak ends.
