ESPN reports that the Yankees have signed relief pitcher Scott Williamson to a minor league deal. Williamson, who had a 4.40 ERA for Baltimore before they let him go, will likely join the Scranton bullpen, and could be a candidate to move up to the Bronx if they trade a bullpen arm (Chris Britton is on the DL, so he's not an option for the moment). It's a nice low-risk signing, and he could potentially be a good bullpen piece.
