Trenton vs Erie, Thunder defeated 2-4.

• Colin Curtis went 1-5 with 2 strikeouts.
• Alberto Gonzalez continued his hot hitting since demotion, going 2-3 with a double and two runs scored.
• Juan Miranda was 1-3 with a walk. He also made two errors.
• Cody Ehlers DHed, and went 2-4.
• Jason Jones earned the loss, pitching five innings giving up three runs (only one earned, a solo-HR) on three hits and one walk. He struck out five.
• Justin Pope pitched two scoreless innings, giving up one hit while striking out five.

Tampa vs Clearwater, Yankees defeated 1-7.

• Austin Jackson went 1-3 with a run scored and a strikeout.
• Jose Tabata and Tim Battle both went 1-4 with a strikeout.
• Francisco Cervelli went 1-3 with a double and a strikeout.
• Zach Kroenke gave up three runs (two earned) on 4 hits (including a solo-HR) in 3 innings of relief. He struck out one.

Charleston at Asheville, Riverdogs defeated 1-6.

• Seth Fortenberry went 2-4 with 2 strikeouts.
• Kyle Anson went 1-4.
• Mitch Hilligoss was hitless in four AB.
• Grant Duff struggled with his control, lasting only 4.2 innings while giving up 6 hits (including a solo-HR), 6 walks, and three runs. He struck out five.

GCL Yanks beaten by Indians, 10-6

• Kelvin Perez started, and was shelled, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks in 3 1/3 innings.
• Prilys Cuello was 0 for 5 with 3 strikeouts.
• Zoilo Almonte was 3 for 5.
• Ryan Wehrle was 1 for 5.
• Brandon Laird was 2 for 5.
• Jesus Montero was 2 for 3 with a walk.
• Andres Perez and Kory Castro were each 2 for 4 with a double.
• Gerardo Rodriguez was 1 for 3 with a home run and a strikeout.

Staten Island was off. Much to our sadness, the Scranton/WB game was postponed due to rain. Phil Hughes will likely go tomorrow.
