Scranton out-slugged by Louisville, 13-7

• Matt DeSalvo was pounded in his return to AAA, giving up 7 runs (6 earned) on 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 2/3 innings.
• TJ Beam was also rocked, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits and a walk in 1 1/3 innings.
• Ross Ohlendorf didn't fare well either, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits in 2 innings.
• Brett Gardner was 0 for 4 with a walk and a strikeout.
• Justin Christian was 2 for 5 with his 14th steal.
• Kevin Thompson and Eric Duncan were each 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.

Trenton taken down by Reading, 11-7

• Tyler Clippard did not have a great outing in his return to AA.  In 3 innings, T-Clip gave up 3 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks.
• Alberto Gonzalez was 1 for 5 with 2 strikeouts.
• PJ Pilittere was 1 for 4.
• Noah Hall was 2 for 5 with a double and a home run.
• Juan Miranda was 0 for 5 with 2 strikeouts.
• Matt Carson, Gabriel Lopez and Cody Ehlers were each 2 for 4.

Charleston bombs Greenville, 13-8

• Eric Hacker had a strong outing, allowing 2 unearned runs on 7 hits and 1 walk in 6 innings.
• Jon Hovis allowed a run on 3 hits in 1 1/3 innings, while striking out 2.
• Mitch Hilligoss was 1 for 4.
• Eduardo Nunez was 2 for 5 with a double and a steal.
• Seth Fortenberry was 1 for 5 with 3 strikeouts.
• Josue Calzado was 3 for 5 with a home run.
• Joseph Muich was 3 for 5 with home run and a double.
• Chase Odenreider was 1 for 4 with a home run.
• Tim O'Brien was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs.
• Wilmer Pino was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk.

SI Yanks ousted by Oneonta, 5-3

• Chris Farley (insert joke here), a recent signing from Indy Ball, gave up 3 runs on 6 hits and 1 walk in 4 innings, with 4 strikeouts.
• Phil Bartelski pitched a perfect 8th, striking out the side.
• Justin Snyder was 2 for 5.
• Damon Sublett was 1 for 5.
• Braedyn Pruitt continued his torrid hitting, going 2 for 4 to keep his average at an even .500.
• Dave Williams was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
• Luis Nunez was 1 for 4.
• Jose Gil was 3 for 4 with 3 doubles.

GCL Yanks top Tigers, 3-2

• Tim Dennehy had a strong start, allowing 3 hits and 1 walk in 5 shutout innings.
• Manuel Barreda had a rough outing in relief, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits and 1 walk in 3 innings.  Barreda also struck out 2.
• Prilys Cuello was 1 for 4 with a strikeout and a stolen base.
• Zoilo Almonte was 1 for 3 with a walk, and was also caught stealing.
• Brandon Laird was 2 for 4.
• Jesus Montero was 2 for 3 with a walk.
• Wady Rufino was 2 for 4 with a home run (his 4th).
• Melky Mesa was 1 for 4 with a strikeout and a steal.

Tampa's game was suspended in the 2nd inning, with the Yankees trailing 3-0. That's all for tonight.
