- Steven White had another solid start, pitching 7 innings while allowing 4 hits and 2 walks and striking out 6.
- TJ Beam allowed a hit in 2/3 of a scoreless inning.
- Jim Brower pitched a perfect 9th.
- Brett Gardner was 2 for 5 with a double and a steal of third base.
- Justin Christian kept pace with his fellow speedster, going 2 for 4 with a walk and 2 steals.
- Shelley Duncan was 1 for 5 with a double.
- Angel Chavez was 2 for 5 with a homer.
- Chris Basak was 1 for 4 with a double.
- Phil Hughes looked good in his 2nd rehab start, allowing 3 hits and striking out 6 in 3 scoreless innings. Phil will likely have at least 2 more rehab starts, so if everything goes well for him, he could be back in the Bronx at the end of July or the 1st week of August.
- Jason Jones pitched 5 innings of shutout ball in relief, giving up 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 2. This Trenton rotation is amazing, that a starter who has been putting up numbers like Jones has been forced to the bullpen.
- Colin Curtis was 1 for 5.
- Alberto Gonzalez was 4 for 5 with a triple.
- Cody Ehlers was 2 for 4.
- Juan Miranda was 2 for 5 with a double and his 3rd AA homer. He is hitting .327 and slugging well over .600 since his promotion, and if he keeps this up, he could wind up in Scranton within the next month (possibly forcing donw the struggling Eric Duncan).
- Kevin Whelan started against Deolis Guerra, the Mets young pitching phenom. Whelan out-pitched Guerra, allowing 3 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings of 1-run ball, and striking out 7. Whelan has pitched very well in Tampa as a starter, but I imagine he will be back in the Trenton bullpen shortly.
- Eric Wordekemper pitched a perfect 10th to earn the save, lowering his ERA to 0.83.
- Austin Jackson was 2 for 4 with a double and a steal, raising his average in Tampa to .420.
- José Tabata was 1 for 5 with a double and 2 strikeouts.
- Edwar Gonzalez was 2 for 4 with a double.
- Kevin Russo was 1 for 3 with a walk.
- Grant Duff had a strong outing, allowing 1 run on 7 hits and a walk in 6 innings.
- Mitch Hilligoss was 1 for 4 with his 17th steal.
- Eduardo Nunez was 1 for 3 with a strikeout.
- Seth Fortenberry was 2 for 4 with a double.
- Josue Calzado was also 2 for 4.
- James Cooper was 1 for 4 with a double.
- Adam Olbrychowski had a decent outing, allowing 3 hits on 5 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings, while also striking out 6.
- Justin Snyder was 2 for 5 with his 3rd home run and 2 strikeouts.
- Damon Sublett was 1 for 3 with 2 walks and 2 steals.
- Isiah Howes was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
- Dave Williams was 1 for 4.
- Casey Erickson started, allowing an unearned run on 3 hits, 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts in 2 innings.
- Gerson Maranzillo was 3 for 4.
- Prilys Cuello was 0 for 4 with a walk and 2 strikeouts.
- Ryan Wehrle and Brandon laird were each 1 for 5.
- Kelvin Castro and Melky Mesa were each 1 for 3 with a walk.
- Robbie Minor was 2 for 4.
