Phil Hughes made his final rehab start for Scranton against Rochester today. The game is still going on (Scranton leads 3-0), but Phil is finished. Hughes threw 91 pitches, which took him through 6 2/3 innings of scoreless ball, and he also allowed just 3 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 4.  He also put up an impressive 13-3 groundout/flyout ratio.  Phil looks ready for the majors, and now that he has gotten his pitch count up, he should be taking his place in the Yankee rotation. This could be the last time we see Phil in the minors for a while, so I'd like to wish Phil the best of luck in his return to the majors, as he moves into the territory of our sister site, The Bronx Block. I don't know when he's going to start (the soonest possibility would be this Friday), but if he's at home, I definitely want to be at that game.
