According to Peter Abraham, fireballer Joba Chamberlain will be promoted from Scranton to the majors, and will be activated in time for Tuesday's game against Toronto.  Buster Olney says that Jeff Karstens which will be demoted, which leaves me wondering how much longer Jim Brower will be on the team. Joba should immediately contribute to the Yankees' bullpen, ease the load on Luis Vizcaino and Mariano Rivera, and hopefully become a reliable shutdown reliever for the late innings.  With Joba and Vizcaino acting as a bridge to Rivera, this bullpen could actually become an asset rather than a liability.
