Rotoworld has it up. Not sure about their source, but Rotoworld is usually pretty reliable. Sanchez had been sidelined with a mysterious elbow problem that no body could figure out since spring training, so this shouldn't be a huge surprise. Christian Garcia, Humberto Sanchez, James Cox, and Mark Melancon? Some people would have ranked those 4 behind Phil Hughes in terms of our best pitching prospects in the offseason. He'll be back mid-2008.  It's a testament to the Yankee farm system that despite losing these four, we can still boast guys like Jeff Marquez, Phil Hughes, Tyler Clippard, Ross Ohlendorf, Kevin Whelan, and Chase Wright in the high minors.
